# Character Stats The character panel displays a hero’s attributes, such as Life, Mana, Defense, Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, and Energy. Using a level 1 Sorceress as an example, these basic stats define a character's abilities and progression.

Upon leveling up, characters gain increases in their Life and Mana stats at rates specific to their hero class. Additionally, players receive 5 stat points per level, which can be freely distributed among Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, and Energy, allowing for personalized development of their heroes. **Strength**: Determines the types of weapons and armor the character can equip. It also increases the amount of physical damage the character can inflict. **Dexterity**: Improves the character’s ability to dodge attacks and enhances accuracy for both melee and ranged attacks. **Stamina**: Increases the character’s Life pool, enhancing overall survivability during battles. **Energy**: Expands the character’s Mana pool, allowing for more frequent use of spells and special abilities. # Equipment System # Basic Info ## **Category of Equipment** Seraph features two categories of equipment: normal and Chaos. ## **Durability and Repair** All equipment in Seraph has a Durability stat that decreases during combat. When Durability reaches zero, the equipment becomes unusable. Players can repair equipment by visiting the Blacksmith NPC.

To repair an equipment, click the repair button and hover the mouse over the equipment. The cursor will change to a hammer shape, indicating repair readiness.

## **Equipment Identify** Most equipment drops in an unidentified state, meaning the specific affixes and stats are hidden. Unidentified equipment cannot be used until identified. To identify equipment, players must use an Identify Scroll.

# Types of Equipment Equipment in Seraph includes weapons, armor, accessories, and amulets. Each type serves a unique purpose, can be equipped on specific body parts, and provides various effects to enhance gameplay. ## **Weapon** Weapons in Seraph are diverse, catering to different playstyles and combat preferences. They are further subdivided into axes, maces, staves, blades, swords, daggers, hammers, spears, bows, crossbows, javelins, and more. Each weapon type has distinct properties and animations, enabling unique combat actions based on the character's equipped weapon.

Weapons are divided into two categories: **One-Handed Weapons**: Occupy a single weapon slot, allowing the other slot to be used for a shield. **Two-Handed Weapons**: Require both slots, offering greater power at the cost of defensive options.
## **Armor** Armor is essential for defense and can be equipped on various body parts. It is categorized into helmets, body armor, gloves, shields, belts, and boots, each offering distinct attribute bonuses.
Different types of armor amplify attributes slightly differently, allowing players to tailor their loadouts for specific playstyles. Unique armor pieces for different body parts are also available, adding customization and depth to the game.
## **Accessory** Accessories such as necklaces and rings provide additional attribute bonuses, complementing the benefits of weapons and armor.
# Amulets Amulets offer additional attributes to characters and do not require equipping in a traditional sense. Instead, they must be placed in the Amulet Bag to activate their effects. Amulets come in three sizes based on the space they occupy in the bag: ● Small: 1x1 size. ● Large: 1x2 size. ● Grand: 1x3 size. While smaller amulets conserve bag space, some rare attributes are exclusive to larger amulets. A special category of amulets, known as World Rings, can only be obtained by defeating bosses. These must be purified before they can be used. # Socketable Item Socketable items, such as gems, jewels, and runes, can be embedded into socketed equipment to enhance their abilities. ## **Gem** Gems grant magical effects and attribute bonuses when equipped. Seraph currently features seven types of gems: Amethyst, Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, and Skull. Each gem comes in five quality levels: **Cracked**, **Flawed**, **Normal**, **Flawless**, and **Perfect**. Higher-quality gems provide stronger bonuses.
